How do I convince my mom to let me go to Sri Lanka?

My mom has never let me go anywhere outta town alone unless it was to a family's place. and that was only once and that itself was sooo difficult! But my BEST friend lives in sri lanka and I really wna meet him! It's about a 6 hour flight from where i live. He's coming here in july but before another person is going to sri lanka to visit him and then they're asking if i can come too. I really wna go, ill have the time of my life! im so sure about that! =) ... my mom is super strict. I go out to a friends place max 3 times a week during summer vacations. the rest of the time im home. She's not easy to convince and we dont have a lot of money. I can get a job and make a few extra bucks for the trip. that's not a problem. the question is how can i get her to let me go? I haven't asked her yet. I wna get the whole thing done perfectly so im at least close to getting a yes! please please please someone help me! :) thanks!
