Why do my hands get hot,red, and itchy?

Im 14 going 15 and this has been happening for years on certain occasions. Sometime when Ive been holding something or carrying something that puts allot of wait on my hands or pushes hard on my hands(for example vacuuming, taking out trash, etc etc...) my hands will get hot and most of the time itchy. Its terrible during the winter when my hands are exposed to the cold weather they also get red and itchy. Also sometimes my fingers(most of the time my thumbs) well get swollen for no reason and most of the time sore. Now the first one when usually wears off within a couple of minutes after the pressure is taken off of my hands, the second one I really dont remember since its summer time and I usually dont take the time to see how long it takes(because it too eventually wears off), and the third one(the most annoying one) sometimes takes until the next day to wear off. I already know what causes the first two but the third is a complete mystery to me. What I want to know is what all three are, what causes them, how to prevent them. Ive told my mom about it a few times but she always says as long as they wear off Im find, and maybe she's right but just to be on the safe side I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out.

Strange dreams about running away?

I've had these dreams for a few years; I'm always running away from home on foot, with my father chasing me. I get tired a few miles in, usually after traveling through a lot of country roads and small forests, and hide in the bushes surrounding someone's house. It's now night. I find my way to a car/taxi/bus and leave the state, with my father in his car in pursuit. I come to a coastal state (I live in the Midwest and hate it) and take a trip on a ship. I step out on to the docks for the last time, and my dad catches me and takes me home. How do I get my dogs used to each other?

Ok, we got a chow chow mix from the humane society yesterday, and my dogs still won't play with her. I have two other dogs, one male and one female. The female won't play with her, but isn't growling at her anymore. The male is doing the thing with her where they circle around each other while sniffing each other, but if she gets near his face or tries to play with him he growls at her. How long does it usually take to get a new dog acquainted with the dogs that were already in the house? Is there anything I can do to expedite the process? I'm also afraid that my dogs shunning her and growling at her can cause her to become aggressive to other dogs/animals, and maybe to people. Are these fears legitimate? My aunt lives next door with 3 friendly dogs and her sons unfriendly one. I'm going to wait until her son moves out (it shouldn't be too long) and then I'm going to take her over there to play with the friendly dogs to keep her socialized. By the way you worded your question, I am going to assume that you have never been formally taught to work with gaming horses. Gaming is not all about speed, it's more so about being able to perform the patterns flawlessly. You need a horse that can turn with ease, remain under control before, during and after the run, and listen to your hand, leg, seat, and voice cues. You also need to be a knowledgeable rider and be aware that yanking a horse around turns and racing around an area is not good gaming. If I had to choose a horse out of the ones listed, I would say either of the QH's, but both sound like they need work. The first would need to learn how to turn, and the second would need show exposure as well as turns. The other two just sound like you're asking for trouble; a large thoroughbred with lots of go go go and absolutely no whoa is a horrible gaming choice. And the thought of throwing a horse immediately after being saddle broke into gaming is a bad choice as well. Near the end of ww2 my Grandfather who was 2nd A.I.F, was involved in a combined action with some American troops. Some family say they were marines some say they were army, Pa never really talked about it. Tons of small country towns abound in the U.S. Parks and caves , fishing , swimings , camping , amusement parks. Just stay away from the typical tourist traps. Book a stay on a ranch , go see an aviation museum . Get a welcome packet sent to you from each states' tourism sites online. Rent a car and drive to Canada and see the Falls. Look at the USA not as a whole , judge it State by State. There are many different cultures in the U.S., read up on the good ones. Sri Lanka would be my pick , I would not feel safe in the others. I'm unable to be around moths-and my house is full of them- help!?

When I was a little kid I lived in Boston and moths were no big deal. The only ones I ever saw were these pretty white ones that looked like butterflies that I would catch. But then when I was nine I moved to a small town that is literally infested with moths. And they're either the big nasty kind or the small ones that creep into your food. Since then I became phobic of them because there were just so many and they would always fly into me and I'd find them in my food and the shower and one time this particularly huge nasty one crawled down my shirt. I was so extremely phobic of them that I would sometimes freeze and cry if I just saw one. But then I succesfully rid myself of tgis phobia (or nearly). I was ok as long as they werent on me. I was even at a family gathering outdoors where I was bombarded with them. But recently I've been feeling really uncomfortable with them. Sometimes I can calm myself down but other times I basically go to hysteria. It's not as bad as when I was a kid and I wouldn't call it a true phobia but its getting there and I can't let myself get there because my house is infested with them. I know they can't hurt me but they are just so nasty. I dont know if this is relevant but as a kid I also had sensory integration disorder so I hated things such as being barefoot on grass,seaweed, wet sand, dandelions, the sound of styrofoam, etc. But I have outgrown it and have no problem with any of that stuff anymore. Actually I only had SID until I was 7-8 but when I outgrew it thats when the moth phobia started. Anyways, what should I do?

He is about 15 now. This is not a phase, he's always been quite stoic and unsympathetic. He's always been disrespectful to my mother... Just now, he kicked me really hard in the leg. Why? Do I choose my wife of 7 yrs or my 15 yr old son??

My wife has told me to choose him or her. He came to live with me from his mother two years ago. He was having some issues with her and we though it may be better with me. He was ok at first but between getting older and hanging out with the wrong people he as gotten worst. I have tried everything from spanking, taking things away, lecture ect. nothing seems to work. He has got in trouble with the law because he got in a fight with his step father at their house and was charged with assault. He has smoked Marijuana with his friends and some things at the house have came up missing. when i question him about it of course he has no idea what happen to it. My wife said she has a 7 yr old daugher (my step daughter) that should not be exposed to all of this so she told me he cannot spend one more night in our house. either he leaves or she will. She wants him to move back with his mother where he was fightng with his step dad in the first place. Him and his mother do not get along at all. Do I send him there were I know he will be unhappy or tell my wife to leave? Tough choice. Right now he is in Juvienile detetention for 6 days for probabtion violation. I hope and pray that six days of being locked up teaches him something. when I pick him up wednesday i am taking him to a rehab where he will get treatment for his substance abuse and hopefully his anger issues. He will be in patient for 90-120 days. Even after all that my wife said she does not want him in our house. not even to visit for a long time. She makes these comments about him all the time about how he is an idiot and it is starting to wear on me...what do I do?????

Can someone identify this Winchester .22 Long rifle?

I recently inherited a Winchester .22 Long rifle from my grandfather when he passed away. I have been trying to look for information on the gun online to see if there's anything I need to know before I shoot it. But I can't find the gun anywhere! I know it is Winchester because it is branded as such on the barrel. I also know it is .22 long because it is designated as such below the Winchester stamp. But I am unsure of the model. The gun is quite old (I don't know manufacture date but it's been around for decades) and I don't think it's made anymore. The gun has a loading mechanism where rounds are inserted into a tube that leads up to the chamber. A spring loaded pole must be unscrewed and puled out to expose a cartridge shaped hole on the bottom of the tube (which is below the barrel) to load rounds. The gun has a pump action that also cocks a fully functioning hammer (a possible substitute?) It's fairly easy to field strip as one tool-less screw needs to be undone to open the chamber. Can anyone enlighten me as to the model number of this gun as I'm looking forward to learning more about it and taking it out to shoot. If I get the chance I will upload photos to provide added clarity. Any help is much appreciated!

Suspected mold in rental unit?

My family & I recently moved 100 miles into a rental house. The owner is still trying to sell the house but is renting it through a property management company in the mean time. When we looked at the house we were aware there was a leak in one of the rooms & we were told it was to be fixed shortly. Since moving in there has been an exceptional amount of rain in our area. We have lived here for over a month now & nothing has been done to repair the roof. The realtor brought a contractor over to look at it, but that was well over 2 weeks ago. We have heard from several people that this house has been for sale for over 2 years and the current owner has received estimates from every contracting company in town, literally EVERY one(it's a town with a population of less than 20,000). My husband works for one of them & his boss said when he did the estimate for the owner he didn't want to pay for anything. He got the impression he was only getting estimates to make it seem like he was going to fix it, but really just wants to sell it as is. As a result of all the rain there now appears to be black mold growing on the exposed insulation in the room with th leaking roof. My 3 year old son constantly has a runny nose ans we both constantly seem to have what feels like pink-eye. I also experience frequent headaches. These are not problems we experienced before living in this house. I'm concerned for our health, but since moving I have lost my job so we don't have money to just move again. What are my steps here an who do I need to contact, the property management or the realtor? I don't have a number for the owner himself.

My school is organizing a trip to visit Sri Lanka next year, and there is only 18 spaces for pupils! I have made it to the top 25. In order to choose the 18 students, we are being took camping for the weekend. Not to put shame to my own country but if I were you I would go to Japan, or China because they take their education more seriously. I was only trained in Sri lankan classical dancing since i was small which i continued for 9 years. My parents never thought i had dancing inside me so they never thought of putting me to a ballet class. i am 21 now and stopped my engineering degree as i realized halfway it's not my thing. I have now realized that all i can do and all i love to do is dance. I did my own little show with my friends and now people say that all i have in me is dancing. I want to pursue a career in dancing but i cannot find a school that suits me. They all require ballet which i have never done. Or they are nor full time. I wont get visa from my country to another country unless it's full time. I'm really stuck right now and i need lot of help and lot of advice. i wish i could go back in time and learn ballet. And i wish Sri lanka had classes like belly dancing or flamenco which i love to learn :(
