Could this be possible?

Okay so i know that in the carboniferous period oxygen was 40% higher than today which caused certain creatures lets say to grow to large sizes now if humans were expose to the same thing back then would we also grow bigger than normal. NoW i know that humans can die of to much oxygen in their system but if that wasnt the case could it happen?
