Should the Irish cricket team have a Test & one-day series against England?

Ireland have already beaten England earlier this year in the World Cup plus they beat Pakistan in the previous World Cup so I believe that they should have the opportunity to play regular on the international scene. It may sound like a joke but look at how Sri Lanka used to get battered when they were 1st on the international scene but they improved. Sri Lanka become World Cup winners in 1996 is a good example so why not give the Irish a chance?
